Tipo I - First Conditional
Il periodo ipotetico di tipo I (First Conditional) serve ad indicare eventi futuri, possibili o probabili, posta una certa condizione.
Forma:

Oltre al futuro con will, che indica una conseguenza certa,nella main clause (la frase principale) si possono trovare altre forme verbali come:
be going to (= futuro intenzionale): If the show finishes early, we are going to the restaurant.
i modali: can, se si vuole indicare che l’azione è possibile, oppure may, per esprimere un esito incerto:
If we have money, we can buy a new car If you don’t answer quickly , she may ask someone else.

Nella if clause (frase secondaria) è possibile trovare :
